Emily Anderson is an Assistant Professor of English in the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. She received her AB degree from Dartmouth College and her Ph.D. from Yale University.
Professor Anderson is a specialist in eighteenth-century literature, with focuses on women writers, theatre history, genre and performance studies. She is a member of the American Society of Eighteenth-Century Studies and the Modern Language Association. She has received numerous awards for her excellence in the classroom, including the USC Parents’ Association Teaching and Mentoring Award, and the USC General Education Teaching Award.
