Lois Banner

Professor Banner is a noted feminist author (Women in Modern America, Finding Fran, Intertwined Lives) and currently serves on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Women’s History. In the past she has served as chair of the History Department and director of the Institute for the Study of Women and Men. Her research focuses on the history of gender, sexuality and culture, as well as religions of America.
