Ron Friedman

Ron FriedmanMultiple Emmy and Writers Guild Award Nominee and Writers Guild Award Winner, Ron Friedman, has written more than 700 hours of mostly prime time Top Ten TV and produced many of the same and created, written, and produced pilots for ABC, CBS and NBC Syndication. A produced playwright whose musical, Uprising, is slated for production in the spring of 2004, he is a member of WGA, SAG, AFTRA, The Dramatists Guild, NATAS and BAFTA, and is also an award winning architect, graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with studies in civil engineering, city planning, scene design, and art history. For two years he was special consultant to the NEA on all film or TV proposals and projects dealing with architecture and construction, and he is a professional artist and sculptor.

Ron is also an experienced actor-singer with many starring or featured roles in Equity musicals and straight plays and numerous voice over roles in animation. In addition he did stand up comedy and wrote numerous best selling comedy albums including the double platinum The First Family Rides Again with Rich Little as Ronald Reagan and his own album, Christmas Songs for Jewish People in which he also starred.
