Nadia Szeinbaum, PhD, serves as Director of the SKY Campus Happiness Club. She is a microbial biochemist by training, with a PhD in microbiology and a research background that includes a NASA astrobiology fellowship and leadership roles in sustainable food innovation. Her scientific work explores how microscopic life shapes planetary systems, human health, and the future of sustainable materials and foods.
Alongside her scientific career, Nadia has spent many years studying and practicing different traditions, including the teachings of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and classical yogic philosophy. She is passionate about integrating scientific understanding with inner development, and about creating spaces where students can cultivate resilience, clarity, compassion, and a deeper sense of purpose.
Through the SKY Campus Happiness Club, Nadia aims to support students in building practical tools for well-being while fostering a culture of kindness, connection, and service on campus.
