South LA Christian Life is a church family of students and working professionals, grown-ups and kids, married and single representing a diversity of ethnic and cultural backgrounds. We exist to know Jesus Christ, experience the abundant life he has for us and make him known to those around us. Together, we participate in Sunday worship services, connect in small-group missional communities and enjoy life together through weekend retreats, community outreaches and just-for-fun social events.

Ben Gordon is the Religious Director of the South Los Angeles Christian Life at University of Southern California.

Ben is a University of Southern California’s Alum (Marshall ‘2013), and stayed in the Los Angeles area to serve with South Los Angeles Christian Life. He has an excitement for seeing students experience a relationship with God in a genuine way, and loves talking to students from so many different cultures around the world.

In addition, Ben works in digital marketing. Ben and his wife, Alyssa, lives in the University of Southern California neighborhood with their two children. They are thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the University of Southern California community in an ongoing way through the Office of Religious Life.
