Julie Albright

Dr. Julie Albright holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California, and is currently a lecturer there in the Dept. of Sociology, She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and also works as a Research Associate at the USC Annenberg School of Communication. There, she has worked on projects ranging from tobacco and sex appeal on the Internet to creating a cyber cafe for older adults. She is a published author in the academic journals, and has recently completed a study of Internet dating and sexual behavior for Elle Magazine. Currently, she is consulting on research for eHarmony, a large online matchmaking service. She is also writing several papers related to Internet dating and deception online, and is associate producing a documentary on plastic surgery and reality makeover shows.
