Jocee Hudson is a rabbi, spiritual director, community organizer, and teacher, and is now honored to serve as USC Hillel’s Campus Rabbi and Senior Educator. Prior to this, Rabbi Jocee served as the Rabbi-in-Residence and Director of Programs at LA Voice, a multifaith community organization, and as a rabbi and educator at Temple Israel of Hollywood and Temple Beth Sholom of Orange County. She has been a Visiting Instructor in Rabbinic Practice in the School of Rabbinical Studies at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) in Los Angeles.
Rabbi Hudson attended Brandeis University and received rabbinic ordination and a Masters in Jewish Education from HUC-JIR. She has a certificate in Multifaith Spiritual Direction from the Chaplaincy Institute and was named T’ruah’s 2019 Human Rights Hero.
While not on campus, Jocee is likely hanging out with her three young kids and/or hiking the hills of Griffith Park.
