Dr. Henry R. Cheeseman, associate professor of clinical business law, is a lawyer and economist. He specializes in the interrelationships of law with economics and finance. He is an expert in the savings and loan industry with other areas of interest in banking, anti-trust law and economics, regulatory law and economics, and valuation studies. His recent research has explored Supreme Court decisions on insider trading.
Dr. Cheeseman has been at USC since 1978 and has received the Golden Apple Award from the Marshall School of Business, as voted on by students. He also received a university wide teaching award from Mortar Board and designation as a Master Teacher in the Marshall School as appointed by the Dean. He has written several publications including “Contemporary Business & E-Commerce Law” and “The Legal and Regulatory Environment.”
