What Matters To Me and Why is a monthly talk and discussion series featuring USC faculty and administrators. It encourages reflection about values, beliefs and motivation in the lives of those who shape our university. Presenters are encouraged to talk about choices made, difficulties encountered, and commitments solidified.
Justin Wood, an assistant professor in psychology since August 2008, received his B.A. in psychology from the University of Virginia and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Harvard. His research has focused on the origins and development of knowledge, in relation to how knowledge emerges during development and may have emerged on a biological timescale.
