On Sunday, Aug 16, 1-3 pm, you can Zoom into the “front lobby” of the SChristian Connection at any time, HERE. Here you can get oriented to the event, learn about the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life, and ask questions about the groups in order to help you make choices about which ones to visit. The lobby Zoom will be open from 1-3. Or, you can dive directly into Zoom rooms with our clubs at 1 pm.
Below is the list of participating clubs. You can visit the DROP IN rooms to ask questions and meet leaders any time between 1-3. You can visit the PRESENTATION rooms at 1:10, 1:30, 1:50, 2:10, and 2:30 for scheduled presentations.

Evangelical or “Non-Denominational” Protestant Christian
Evangelicals include fundamentalist Christians who interpret the Bible in a very literalistic way, and are on a continuum with other evangelicals who interpret it literally in some cases and symbolically in others. Some evangelical clubs represent particular Protestant denominations, and others do not. The term “non-denominational” is often used by evangelical or fundamentalist churches which are not affiliated with larger organizations, or which are affiliated with larger organizations that do not consider themselves to be distinct “denominations”. Most of our 55 clubs are evangelical/non-denominational – here they are organized by type of ministry:

Catholics are Christians who trace their origin to Jesus, with teaching authority in the Church passed from him to the Apostle Peter and on to succeeding generations of bishops through the doctrine of apostolic succession. Catholic worship is centered on the celebration of Eucharist in the Mass. Our Savior Parish and the Caruso Catholic Center are located just a block from campus.

Also open to all Christian students at USC: The Nova Forum for Catholic Thought – The Nova Forum is a new initiative of the Roman Catholic community at USC to introduce students to the Catholic intellectual tradition, to share that tradition’s resources with the secular university, and to equip the next generation to sustain the tradition.
